Best Fire Stick App for Safety
1. ExpressVPN
Any device that connects you to the internet is at risk. Malicious players such as hackers and scammers target users on streaming apps, especially unofficial apps. Most third-party apps haven’t implemented robust systems to ensure users’ safety and privacy. Malicious players target these apps to phish your data, spread viruses, and control your devices. That is why you need a VPN. A VPN (a virtual private network) offers secure servers that encrypt and shield your data from third parties, making it invisible to outsiders. This way, your safety is guaranteed when browsing online. Furthermore, a VPN hides your browsing history from your ISP, hackers, and other third-party entities. In addition, a VPN helps you avoid ISP throttling, bypass geo-restrictions, and minimize buffering. ExpressVPN has consistently been ranked as the best VPN for Fire Stick. It offers an easy-to-use Fire TV Stick app you can install within seconds.

Can you use Real Debrid with Mobdro?
Hi William, No, RD only works with on-demand apps for movies and shows and not live TV apps.
Does Shore TV work with the FireStick? Shore states they do, but only on version 2 of Firestick. Are there better options than Shore?
Hi Derek, I couldn’t find it in the Amazon Store. I don’t think it is available.
when download apps not all work as of June 15, 2020 any reason why? Cyberflix, unlockmytv, I have a 4k tv and 4k stick just got it
Hi Elaine, there have been some issues with the apps. There are more apps you can try. Here is our list: https://www.firesticktricks.com/amazon-fire-stick-apps.html
my firestick hasn’t been used in a few years, Got it out and its saying unable to update your fire tv stick. So how do I fix tis problem
Hi Sherri, you may want to reset your FireStick and start over. Here are the guides that will help:
How to reset FireStick
How to set up FireStick
My question is in regards to settings on manage installed apps . Is there a way to set defaults for apps ? I’m not interested in setting an app to start on startup but the ability to be able to stop them from running when Firestick is running .I am aware that I can go to each individual app and do that but I have to do it every time . Do they launch on startup automatically ? Wanted to be able to run as least as possible while streaming to constantly keep smooth streaming.
Thank you
Hi Tim, not all the apps stay open in the background. But, yes, some of them do. Unfortunately, there is no way to kill them all with a single shot. However, you may try the app called Background Apps and Process List, which will make things easier. This app shows the list of all the apps running in the background. You can download it from the Amazon Store.

how did you set it up?
Hi Randy, are you talking about setting up your FireStick? Here is our guide: https://www.firesticktricks.com/how-to-set-up-amazon-fire-tv-stick-for-first-time.html
Hi!I have just tried to set up our new firestick(2nd gen)but all I’m getting is a rolling screensaver of photos.I have unplugged it,turned the TV off, reset our wifi router, pressed the stick’s home button for 10secs,and finally pressed the select and play buttons simultaneously …nada!Help!🤤
Hi Helen, is it working now? If not, you may need to contact Amazon Support.
For those who are worried about an Amazon Account: I set on up for Belizeans to use! You do not have to have Prime to setup a Firestick unless you want Amazon Prime Video. To keep from getting those annoying messages asking you to buy Prime or add a debit card, you can setup a secondary email account and I even used a debit card that I was canceling so nothing could be charged to me!
What do i need to do when 2 of my apps were deleted because of storage space
Hi Danielle, do you mean FireStick removed/uninstalled the 2 existing apps on its own? That is unheard of.
I use cinema on my firestick and lately none of the movies will load except to youtube What is the problem and how can I fix it? TIA
Hi Valerie, it seems your ISP is blocking the streams. You will need to use Cinema app with a VPN.
