In this post, we will discuss the No Limits Magic Kodi build and understand its various aspects.
Important disclaimer: This article is educational only. We don’t recommend installing third-party Kodi builds that may include unauthorized addons for accessing copyrighted content. Always choose legal streaming alternatives.
What are Kodi Builds?
Before we discuss any specific builds, let’s first understand what Kodi builds are. A Kodi build is basically a ready-made setup. It comes with custom skins, addons, settings, and repositories all in one package. You can think of it like buying a computer that has all the necessary software already installed, so you don’t have to do anything yourself.
A typical Kodi build includes:
- Custom skins to change how Kodi looks
- Several addons for different types of content
- Settings and shortcuts are pre-set
- Repository connections for updates
Although it is entirely legal to use these kinds of customizations, many builds also include unverified addons that might let you stream copyrighted content without any proper permission.
For Kodi Users!
ISPs, hackers, and other third-party entities worldwide may monitor your online activities. For security, privacy, and smooth streaming, it is recommended to use a reliable VPN for Kodi. Your IP address is visible to sites you visit.
I recommend ExpressVPN, a fast and secure VPN in the industry. It is very easy to install on any device, including Amazon Fire TV Stick, PC, Mac, and Smartphones. Also, it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied with their service, you can request a refund. ExpressVPN also has a special deal where you can get 4 months free and save 73% on the 2-year plan.

Why We Don’t Recommend Third-Party Builds
No Limits Magic may look attractive at first glance; however, it is better to avoid it due to several reasons:
Legal Risks:
- Many Kodi Builds have addons that may stream copyrighted content illegally
- Internet Service Providers (ISPs) may send copyright violation notices.
- Depending on local laws, there can be a potential for legal penalties.
Security Concerns:
- Many addons come from unrecognized developers.
- Many addons may include malware or unwanted software.
- Potential for risking device security.
- Data collection and usage practices are not clear.
Technical Issues:
- Most builds often become obsolete and cease to function.
- No official customer service in case of issues.
- May affect the performance of Kodi, making it slow or crash frequently.
- Troubleshooting is hard.
Why VPN Is Not the Answer
Many websites suggest using VPNs to watch unlicensed content. We do not support it. First of all, using a VPN doesn’t make it legal to watch copyrighted material without a proper license. Secondly, a VPN is not always foolproof when it comes to privacy.
VPNs are meant to protect privacy on public Wi-Fi or for other legitimate purposes. They don’t protect against malware or risks from third-party builds.
How Third-Party Builds Are Generally Installed (Educational Overview)
Below are the steps that are followed to install unofficial builds. This information is only for educational purposes.
- The first step is to enable “Unknown Sources” in Kodi settings.
- Next, you have to add unofficial repository links.
- Install build wizards or installation files.
- Then, you need to run the installation process to overwrite the existing Kodi setup.
- Lastly, wait for skins and addons to configure.
Please note that we do not recommend installing unofficial Kodi builds using the steps mentioned above.
Legal Alternatives: Create Your Own Custom Setup
Instead of installing third-party builds that may expose you to various risks, consider creating your own Kodi setup.
Custom Kodi Skins
The primary use of Kodi builds is to modify the interface’s appearance. This can be achieved safely through official Kodi skins. You can find out the top Kodi skins through official libraries. Some popular options are Aeon Nox, Arctic Horizon, and Confluence.
Official Kodi Addons
You can also explore the best official Kodi addons, which are entirely legal and are available in official Kodi repositories.
- YouTube addon for free video content.
- Official network addons, such as BBC iPlayer (in the UK).
- Podcast addons for those looking for audio content.
- Utility addons like weather.
Simpler Alternatives to Consider
Kodi can be a bit too technical even for tech-savvy people. So, if your main aim is to stream entertainment, there are simpler options that are safe, legal, and easy to stream.
Free Options
- Pluto TV – 250+ free channels with proper licensing (Visit Pluto TV)
- Tubi – Thousands of free movies and shows (Visit Tubi)
- Amazon FreeVee – Free Amazon content (Visit FreeVee)
- YouTube – Free content, news, and entertainment
Paid Services
- Netflix – Premium streaming service (Visit Netflix)
- Hulu – Current TV shows and movies (Visit Hulu)
- Sling TV – Live TV starting at $35/month (Visit Sling)
- YouTube TV – Comprehensive live TV (Visit YouTube TV)
- ESPN+ – Sports streaming (Visit ESPN+)
- Peacock – NBC content (Visit Peacock)
These services work seamlessly out of the box, eliminating the need for technical setup, legal concerns, or security risks.
What Builds Like No Limits Magic Claim to Offer
For educational understanding, builds like No Limits Magic typically include:
Movies
It offers access to a wide range of movies across various genres, with keyword search options. However, it is impossible to know if the content you are streaming is authorized or not.
TV Shows
It offers organized catalogs of TV shows, categorized by season and episode. Again, legality may be an issue.
Sports
Similarly, you can watch all sorts of sports highlights, live scores, etc. However, most of them could be illegal streams of copyrighted broadcasts.
Music
Charts from different regions and genres.
Live TV
Access to various TV channels, typically without proper broadcasting rights or licensing agreements.
Important note: Most of these content sources operated without proper licensing agreements, exposing users to copyright infringement risks.
Technical Problems with Third-Party Builds
Users of builds like No Limits Magic frequently experienced:
- Crashes and freezes regularly.
- Broken links and content that doesn’t work.
- Performance issues.
- Addons may stop suddenly.
- No customer service in case of technical problems.
- Security risks from unknown sources.
These technical issues highlight why many users prefer reliable legal streaming services that work consistently without troubleshooting.
Our Strong Recommendation
While builds like No Limits Magic offered extensive customization and content access, the legal risks, security concerns, and reliability issues make them poor choices for most users.
Instead, we strongly recommend:
- Use official Kodi addons only – Stick to verified addons from Kodi’s repository
- Try legal streaming services – Services like Pluto TV, Tubi, and Netflix provide reliable entertainment
- Custom legal setup – Use official skins and addons to personalize Kodi legally
- Consider simpler alternatives – Many users find dedicated streaming apps easier than managing Kodi

Saving a little with illegal builds is not worth the stress, risks, and trouble it causes. Instead of using Kodi No Limits Magic, choose safe and legal services that respect both you and content creators.

How can I display my movies located in external HDD in home screen (movies & tv)?
Hi Jim, I am not sure how to display it on the home-screen, but you can certainly access them from your Video Library. Here is how:
– Make sure your HDD is connected to the computer on which you are using Kodi
– From the No Limits Home-screen select Favorites in the main menu bar (don’t click it)
– Click Video Library in the submenu
– Scroll down and click Add videos
– Click Browse
– Select your HDD drive from the list and navigate to the folder in which your videos are saved
– Click OK (you may rename the video library if you like)
You can now access the videos from Favorites > Video Library
I do not recommend this version. The format is one of the older versions like Kodi 15 and it will delete any previous add-ons.
Hi Patrick,
Thanks for the amazing post in here. I am having a little issue here. Where can I find providers histori cache ? I tried to disable openload links and I have done 2 out of 3 steps so far, but I can find providers histori in Supremacy. I found Supremacy cache in maintenance and deleted it. I disabled openload links thought url resolver but as I said I can not find providers histori in Supracy. Little help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi, I am sorry, I am not sure what exactly are you meaning to do here. Could you please elaborate it a bit?
Hi Patrick,
Excuse my previous post. I was wondering how to fix this all morning long and had to go to work.
So, what is my case.
I would like to remove/disable “Openload” Stream links from my Supremacy Add on. I have done this before in Kodi 17.6 without any builds but now I have “No Limits Magic Build” and I struggle with some options.
What I have done so far in steps based on my knowledge with Kodi without builds.
1. I had to find the Resolve URL and to disable Openload Streams trough it.
– How I did it:
1.Add On -> Settings -> Add On -> Manage dependencies -> Resolve URL -> Configuration -> OpenLoad -> Enebled -> Off, Automatic update resolver option -> Off ( for the same Openload server).
2. Back to the application or the Add on that I would like to use ( in my case Supremacy).
Add on -> Supremacy -> Tools
– > Clear cache -> Yes/Ok – This one I found underneath Maintenance ( we do not have tools options in this build).
-> Clear providers -> This one I could have find anywhere in the build ( this is the one that I struggle to find).
3. An last step is: Settings -> Playback -> Hosters with captures -> Off – I found this one as well.
So my question is where can I find the Clear providers options in Supremacy Add on with “No Limits Magic Build” ?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Apostol
Hi Apostol, No Limits Magic Build does come with a Tools options called No Limits Tools. To access it, from the home-screen of the build, highlight System option on the main-menu followed by Program Addons on the submenu.
Supremacy maintenance tool doesn’t come preinstalled with this build. However, Supremacy repository does. Click (not just highlight) System option on the main-menu on the home-screen of the build > Add-ons > Install from Repository > Supremacy > Program add-ons > Supremacy Wizard > Install (button on the left menu)
You can also clear providers individually for any addon. Go to System > Video Add-ons. Long press/touch or right click the addon. Click Settings from the pop-up menu. You will find the Providers related option in add-on Settings
how come simple client doesn’t work on new build i installed on 3-3-19.. won’t load iptv channel list
Hi Tom, which client are you referring to? Please share some details so that I know what I should be looking for
I installed 18 and then after awhile finally was able to install no limits. I had it installed for 3 days and finally had to go back to 17.6. I found Kodi closing, a heck of a lot more buffering, and it would just freeze up. Like I said I have reinstalled 17.6 and installed no limits V.12 No problems at all. It is working as it normally has since I bought it 4 yrs ago. Just thought this might help others having issues.
Hi Anthony, thanks for the input. Yes, it is true. Some builds won’t work on Kodi 18 while they work fine on 17.6.
Hi, I have installed the programme fine onto my firestick using kodi 18 but the add ons do not appear as a build – instead they just appear as lots of add ons – is there a way I can fix this?
Hi, No Limits Magic builds are not working properly on Kodi Leia as the Skins are not compatible. That’s why you see the default Kodi interface and not the one with the new theme.
You may try one of the working Kodi Leia builds we have on our list https://www.firesticktricks.com/best-kodi-builds.html
Scroll down to the bottom of this list where we have listed the working builds for Leia
Server 1 and 2 didnt work for me gave me install errors but Server 3 did the job. Maybe usefull info for the ones with same problem :).
keep getting invalid zip url
fresh install of kodi 18, checked and rechecked im inputting url correctly but still getting same error
Hi Allan, please check the other comments below for the solution.
You’re a genius, Patrick. There is no other comment with a solution for this. There is no other comment that even mentions this. If you were referring to the post about http vs https, that is not the issue.
I’ve been a die-hard nolimits build user for a few years now and since the whole youtube debacle, I’ve experienced nothing but issues. Installation issues, functionality issues, “one evening out of the blue, it’s just broken again” issues. I don’t mind redoing the entire Kodi platform on our NVidia Shield TV. I’ve had to do it again and again, but it’s quite frustrating when one can’t even redo it because there’s a script error somewhere with an incorrect URL or whatever.
Hi, I just installed the No Limits Magic build and it works fine for me. The URL http://nolimitsbuilds.com/kodi/ points to the right server.
At what point exactly during the installation are you experiencing the issue?
Forget my last post, i got it working by installing from zip file at another location
Doesn’t work, kept uninstalling and reinstalling for version 18. Error says “The dependency on script.module.requests version 2.9.1 could not be satisfied.”
