This guide will give step-by-step directions for installing Live Net TV on your FireStick. These instructions work for all Fire TV devices, such as the Fire TV Cube, FireStick 2nd and 3rd Gen, FireStick Lite, FireStick 4K, and 4K Max.
What is Live Net TV?
Live Net TV is a third-party streaming app for live TV. It is compatible with most devices, including Fire TV Sticks, Android TV, PC, and Android mobile.
The app is well-designed to work with remote controls, making navigation easy.
With Live Net TV, you can watch many live TV channels from various countries and languages over the internet.
These include channels offering sports, entertainment, news, business, movies, TV shows, and kids’ content.
Live Net TV is one of the best choices for streaming cable TV online at zero cost. It is also part of our Best Apps for FireStick list.
Attention, FireStick Users!
Governments and ISPs constantly monitor your online activity, and accessing copyrighted content on your Fire TV Stick could lead to serious trouble. Currently, your IP is visible to everyone. I strongly recommend getting the best FireStick VPN to mask your IP address and securely stream your favorites.
I personally use ExpressVPN, the fastest and most secure VPN available. Not only is it easy to install on any device, it comes with a risk-free 30-day money-back guarantee. Plus, if you're not 100% satisfied, you can always get a refund. ExpressVPN is currently also offering a whopping 3 extra months free on their annual plan!

Is Live Net TV Safe & Legal?
Third-party apps like Live Net TV may pose a safety risk to your device and data. Unidentified entities develop these apps and may lack the security infrastructure found in official apps. Moreover, these apps may carry malicious files like spyware, viruses, and adware.
At FireStickTricks.com, we can’t confirm the safety status of Live Net TV. However, an online virus scanner like VirusTotal can tell if the APK file is suspicious.
I tested the Live Net TV APK file on VirusTotal. The scan results show that no security vendor flagged the file as malicious.
The legal standing of Live Net TV is unclear. As a live TV scraper, it doesn’t host or own any channels but provides access to hundreds of channels from external sources. FireStickTricks.com does not have the resources to determine whether all its sources are legitimate.
We never encourage piracy. However, your privacy is important to us. Therefore, we recommend using Live Net TV with a trustworthy VPN like ExpressVPN.

I tried following your steps here. I currently have LiveNetTV 1.1. So I followed your instructions for v4.8 and I click on for Amazon Fire TV download. It starts going through the download, but just right before the end, it tells me that “Status – An unknown error has occurred. Check your URL and connection.” What can I do?
Max says
Hi Sandy, it won’t work for me either. It seems there is a temporary issue.
Sue says
Is there only an ad free version of Livenettv now? It uses your idle resources and I don’t want to ..
Thanks

Hi Sue, unfortunately, this is the only version of Live Net TV. However, you can try TVTap, which lets you choose between displaying ads and using resources. Here is our guide: https://www.firesticktricks.com/tvtap-on-firestick.html

Hi Patrick
I have a message coming up saying live net tv version not compatible. Then it says please download & install the app for amazon devices (using firestick 4K). The link to livenettv.bz says downloads not available. 4.7 Version still works (with some limits), however the 4.8 wants to upgrade to 4.8.6, which stalls when launched. Any idea what’s up here? Thanks in advance
Wayne
Max says
Hi Wayne, the Amazon download link is now working. I just installed version 4.8. It is not asking for an upgrade.
Steven says
I tried the “livenettv.bz” link again and it finally worked!! Don’t know why it took two days but all is good. Thanks
Adam says
I downloaded Amazon version but it says sharing ip address if want not to share ip address please download advertisement version but couldn’t find advertisement version.
Max says
Hi Adam, even I couldn’t find the ad-supported version. However, even if I did, I would rather recommend using a VPN to hide your original IP address while using third party apps like this.
