Steps to Install Loki Kodi Addon
We are going to get started shortly. There is something important that must be taken care of. We are going to enable Unknown Sources in Kodi Settings. Without it, we can’t install Loki addon on Kodi. So, here is what we do first:
Allow Installation from Unknown Sources
– On the home window of the Kodi application, we will go to Settings. You will find the gear icon on the top, in the left corner. Click it!
– Now we navigate to and click System
Note: If you are still on Kodi 17.6, click System Settings
– In the left sidebar, scroll down and click Add-ons
– With Add-ons selected, jump to the right section where you can easily locate Unknown Sources. Toggle it ON
– You are now warned about the implications of keeping Unknown Sources ON.
Loki is one of the safest addons out there. There is nothing to feel concerned about.

How to Use Loki Add-on on Kodi: A Quick Look
Loki addon is simple. However, let me give you a quick overview so that you know what you are dealing with.
You can access Loki addon from the home window of Kodi. You just need to select/hover over Add-ons in the left sidebar and click Loki in the right section under Video add-ons
Or, instead of just selecting Add-ons in the left sidebar, click it and on the next screen select Video add-ons. You will find Loki (and any other installed video add-ons) on the right
Loki has an expansive list of categories on its main screen. Along with regular categories, such as Movies and TV Shows, you will also find several other categories including Documentaries, Kidzone, Music, Karaoke, Fitness, and several sports-related sections.
I guess you can get started with streaming now.
Before you start streaming with Kodi Addons / Builds, I would like to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and Government. This means, streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, Sports) might get you into legal trouble.
Kodi users are strongly advised to connect a VPN while streaming. A VPN for Kodi will bypass ISP throttling, Government Surveillance, and geo-restriction on popular Add-ons. I always connect ExpressVPN on all my streaming devices and I suggest you do the same.
ExpressVPN is the fastest and most secure VPN. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Meaning, you can use it freely for the first 30-days and if you are not satisfied with the performance (which is highly unlikely), you can ask for the full refund.
NOTE: We do not encourage the violation of the copyright laws. But, what if you end up streaming content from an illegitimate source unintentionally? It is not always easy to tell the difference between a legit and illegal source.
So, before you start streaming on Kodi, here's how to get VPN protection in 3 simple steps.
Step 1: Get the ExpressVPN subscription HERE.
Step 2: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN app on your device.
Step 3: Click the Power icon to connect a VPN server. That's all. Your connection is now secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.
Loki Kodi addon uses metadata processing, which slows down the navigation significantly. Regular streamers do not need this option. Therefore, it is best to disable it. Here are the steps:
– Open Loki on Kodi and when the main screen loads up, scroll down and click Settings
– On the Settings popup window, select Customization tab on the left. Navigate to the right and toggle Enable Metadata OFF (the image below shows it is ON) by dragging the switch to the left
– Click OK
Few Streams or No Streams? Here is how you fix it
As I write this guide, Loki is fetching lots of quality streams. However, sometimes you may run into some issues. For instance, you may see only few working streams. Or, sometimes you may not find any streams at all. This can be fixed. Follow the steps below:
– Open Settings from the main window of Loki Addon
– Click Scrapers tab in the left sidebar
– Click Open Scraper Settings on the right
– Click General tab on the left
– Click Enable All
Loki addon brings to you a wide range of streaming categories for on-demand content. Besides Movies and Shows, you can stream Documentaries, Kids’ content, sports content and more. Loki addon is doing a fine job as far as the number and quality of streams are concerned. Moreover, there is an inexhaustive collection of content and more keeps getting added regularly. Navigation might seem a bit slow in the beginning, but I have provided the steps to disable Metadata and make it faster. Overall, Loki is a quality Kodi addon and I recommend it.
