There is plenty of media content for numerous hours of binge-watching. This addon has all the latest movies and TV show episodes.
You may not have heard of Myriad Kodi addon yet. But, I am confident that even if you hadn’t been reading this guide, you would have been soon acquainted with this addon. It is gaining a lot of traction, especially since our options have dramatically narrowed down. So, let’s learn to install Myriad Kodi addon so that you may start streaming your favorite movies and shows in no time.
Update: Myriad Kodi Addon is not working any longer
Kodi Addons / builds offer unlimited streaming content, but could also get you into legal trouble if caught streaming free Movies / TV shows / Sports. Kodi users are strongly advised to always connect a VPN while streaming online. A good Kodi VPN hides your identity, bypasses government surveillance, geo-blocked content, and ISP throttling (which also helps in buffer-free streaming).
I use ExpressVPN which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is very easy to install on any device including Amazon FireStick. You get 3-months free and save 49% on its annual plans. Also, it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you can always ask for a refund.

How to Install Myriad Addon on Kodi
Like most platforms, Kodi has a security system that prevents you from downloading any third-party plugins. This security system must be bypassed to install the Myriad Kodi addon. Here is how you can bypass it:
Open the Kodi Settings from the home-screen. You will find the Settings icon on the top-left, immediately under the Kodi logo
Now, choose System settings
Next, go to the left of the screen and on the sidebar select Add-ons
The options related to Add-ons will appear on the right, including Unknown Sources. This is the option you need to make sure is turned on. So, drag the switch next to it towards the right and enable it.
Kodi will throw the following warning on your screen. Don’t worry about this warning. It is true that some third-party plugins, addons may cause harm, but not the ones that are safe and tested. I have personally used Myriad and it is absolutely safe.
So, click Yes
With this, you have configured the Kodi security settings to accept the third-party addons. Now, we are going to follow the step by step instructions to install Myriad Kodi addon:
Step 1: Again, click Settings on the home-screen of Kodi
Step 2: Next, click File manager
Step 3: You should find Add-source on both sides of the next screen. Go ahead and click any one of it (see the picture below)
Step 4: A new window must now pop up as you see in the image I have provided below. Click <None> on this window
Step 5: Another window appears. In this window, you need to type in the following URL http://androidaba.com/addons/
Type the URL carefully as it is pointing to the source from where we will eventually install the Myriad Kodi addon
Click OK
Step 6: In this step, you must provide a name for the source link that you added earlier. While I am choosing the name androidaba, you may type any name you would like to identify this source with
Your Kodi screen should look somewhat like what you see in the following image
Click OK
Till this part of the tutorial, we added the Myriad Addon source to Kodi. The following steps will now guide you to install the Kodil repository. Kodil repository will eventually be used to install the Myriad Kodi addon
Step 7: Press back/esc to go back to the Kodi home-screen.
Click Add-ons on the left
Step 8: Now, click the open box icon on the top left corner of the next screen. This icon is also popularly referred to as Package Installer
Step 9: Choose Install from zip file
Step 10: Click androidaba (if that’s the name you added earlier. If you provided any name, choose that)
Step 11: Click repository on the next screen
Step 12: Scroll down and click the repository.kodil-1.3.zip file
When I wrote this guide, 1.3 was the version number of the kodil repository zip file. If the number has changed, don’t worry about it. Still go ahead and click the zip file
Step 13: Now simply wait for the ..Kodil Repository Add-on installed message/notification. It will be displayed on the top-right corner of your Kodi screen
You have successfully installed the Kodil Repository. Now, we install the Myriad Kodi addon.
Step 14: Click Install from repository
Step 15: Open ..Kodil Repository
Step 16: Click Video add-ons
Step 17: Scroll down to the M section of the list and click Myriad
Step 18: On the next window click Install
Step 19: In about a couple of minutes the Myriad Add-on installed message will appear, again in the top-right corner
Myriad Kodi addon is installed. Let us now explore this addon and see how we can watch movies and shows.
Step 20: You want to go back to the Kodi home-screen again. On the left sidebar, click Add-ons.
Now, click Video add-ons where you will find the Myriad Kodi addon icon. Click the addon icon to continue
Step 21: What you see next is the Myriad addon home-screen. The default view is IconWall, but you can change it to WideList. I will show you how in the next step
Step 22: Go to the far left of the screen and a retractable menu bar will slide out from the left. Change the Viewtype from IconWall to WideList if you like to see the options in the form of the list and not icons (check the image attached below)
Step 23: Let’s now click Movies on the main-screen of Kodi Myriad addon. As you can see below, the addon has all the IMDB categories. But, that pretty much covers everything you want to watch including the latest movies. You can also sort the movies by Genre. Simply click IMDB Genre option
Step 24: Now you can see the Genre category. You can find the movies in several genres including Action, Adventure, Animation, Biography, etc.
Step 25: When you click the TV Shows on the main-screen of Myriad Kodi addon, this is what you see. You can pick one of these categories and explore the TV shows.
That’s pretty much it about the Myriad addon for Kodi.
Before you start streaming with Kodi Addons / Builds, I would like to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and Government. This means, streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, Sports) might get you into legal trouble.
Kodi users are strongly advised to connect a VPN while streaming. A VPN for Kodi will bypass ISP throttling, Government Surveillance, and geo-restriction on popular Add-ons. I always connect ExpressVPN on all my streaming devices and I suggest you do the same.
ExpressVPN is the fastest and most secure VPN. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Meaning, you can use it freely for the first 30-days and if you are not satisfied with the performance (which is highly unlikely), you can ask for the full refund.
NOTE: We do not encourage the violation of the copyright laws. But, what if you end up streaming content from an illegitimate source unintentionally? It is not always easy to tell the difference between a legit and illegal source.
So, before you start streaming on Kodi, here's how to get VPN protection in 3 simple steps.
Step 1: Get the ExpressVPN subscription HERE.
Step 2: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN app on your device.
Step 3: Click the Power icon to connect a VPN server. That's all. Your connection is now secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.
Wrapping Up
One of the best things about Kodi is that it is an open-source platform. This allows independent developers to create top-quality addons. And thus, even when the old addons keep shutting down, we never run out of options as the new ones just never stop coming. I have come across some really cool new addons lately and Myriad is a fresh new entry to my list. Besides Myriad Kodi addon, you may also want to try some new addons like Medusa and DeathStar. All these addons have been developed using the latest technologies and have improved upon the older ones. How did you like this addon? Do let us know by giving your invaluable feedback in the comments section below.
