Football is gaining huge popularity in Asia, with many Asian players reaching the top levels of European football and several nations participating in the World Cup—three countries made it to the knockout stage in the most recent 2022 FIFA World Cup.
A lot of talk nowadays is about the Saudi Pro League (SPL), which has attracted attention due to the signings of big-name players from Europe, thanks to significant investments from Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).
Saudi Arabia has been heavily investing in sports, grabbing global attention through the move of Cristiano Ronaldo to Al-Nassr in 2023. The country has also hosted major events like Formula One in Jeddah and the LIV Golf tour and is slated to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup — Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has a vision of making Saudi Arabia a football hub.
Attention, FireStick Users!
Governments and ISPs constantly monitor your online activity, and accessing copyrighted content on your Fire TV Stick could lead to serious trouble. Currently, your IP is visible to everyone. I strongly recommend getting the best FireStick VPN to mask your IP address and securely stream your favorites.
I personally use ExpressVPN, the fastest and most secure VPN available. Not only is it easy to install on any device, it comes with a risk-free 30-day money-back guarantee. Plus, if you're not 100% satisfied, you can always get a refund. ExpressVPN is currently also offering a whopping 3 extra months free on their annual plan!

Saudi Pro League: Introduction
In June 2023, PIF took a big step towards making Saudi Arabia a football powerhouse by acquiring a majority stake in its top four clubs: Al-Ahli, Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad, and Al-Nassr. This investment, along with ambitious ownership goals, has attracted some of the biggest names in football to the Saudi Pro League, including former Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema, ex-Chelsea player N’Golo Kanté, Neymar, Riyad Mahrez, Sadio Mane, and many more. England captain Jordan Henderson also joined PIF-owned Al-Ettifaq in July 2023. However, the player has since made his way to Eredivisie club Ajax.
While it’s common for countries to launch new, lucrative leagues and attract top players, the SPL has distinguished itself by securing talents still in their prime, Rúben Neves, and even attracting young talents like the Spanish international Gabri Veiga. The country could have also received Messi’s services until he decided to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami, which is a part of Major League Soccer (MLS).
To compete with European clubs, the SPL has expanded its structure, increasing the number of teams to 18 this year. The competition will now send its top two teams to the AFC Champions League, while the bottom three will be relegated to the Yelo League. Although it may not match the excitement of the UEFA Champions League or the Premier League, the Saudi Pro League is steadily building its own fan base as the country aims to become a powerhouse in football.

The tricks below will let you stream the Saudi Pro League for free for a few weeks only. The football league goes on for eight months and if you want to watch all games without paying a single dime, use third-party apps and Kodi addons. However, before you explore them, make sure to set up an ExpressVPN connection on FireStick. Here’s why.
The apps and services mentioned below are unavailable from the Amazon App Store. This raises a red flag in our books, as these apps may not have an official license to air Saudi Pro League matches. You should be careful and hide your personal details from the authorities.
Since your IP address and FireStick history are visible all the time, the local authorities can track you down and slap you with a legal notice for streaming unlicensed content. That’s why you need to use ExpressVPN to mask your identity.
ExpressVPN is the top VPN app for FireStick users. It offers hundreds of servers and solid security settings to keep your identity hidden from the authorities. Once you set it up, you are free to stream Saudi Pro League using the apps below. You don’t have to worry about getting into any legal trouble.
Step 1: Subscribe to ExpressVPN HERE. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Meaning, you can use it free for the first 30-days and if you are not satisfied with the performance (which is highly unlikely), you can ask for a full refund.
Step 2: Power ON your Fire TV Stick and go to Find followed by Search option.
Step 3: Now type “Expressvpn” (without quotes) in the search bar and select ExpressVPN when it shows up in the search results.
Step 4: Click Download to install the ExpressVPN app on Fire TV / Stick.
Step 5: Open the app and enter the login credentials that you created while buying the ExpressVPN subscription. Click Sign in.
Step 6: Click the Power icon to connect to a VPN server. That’s all. Your connection is now secure with the fastest and best VPN for FireStick.

Sports Apps and Kodi Addons
There are dozens of sports apps for FireStick users. However, not every app works as expected. You can download a couple of apps from my list and stream your favorite games without paying a single dollar.
You can also go with Kodi on FireStick. Since it’s not available from the Amazon App Store, you need to download Kodi from my guide and integrate the top sports Kodi addons to enable live sports streaming.
Sports Streaming Websites
All Fire TV devices come with the default Silk browser. You can launch it and visit the top sports streaming websites to watch Saudi Pro League games for free. However, these websites are often packed with ads and trackers. You should be careful before sharing your personal or financial information with them. Also, it’s always advisable to use ExpressVPN when dealing with such websites.
After all, FireStickTricks can’t confirm if these apps have the official license or not.
IPTV Providers
There are dozens of IPTV services for FireStick users. You can pick any capable IPTV provider and unlock thousands of live TV channels, premium PPV events, and on-demand content for a negligible monthly subscription.
Some IPTV services come with an IPTV player. You can also set it up with an IPTV player to stream unlimited content with a familiar interface.
Wrapping Up
Although it’s not as popular as the Premier League or Bundesliga, the Saudi Pro League has managed to attract many football fans due to several high-profile names participating in the tournament. How do you plan to stream these games on FireStick? I mainly watch these games on Kodi with ExpressVPN to stay anonymous. What about you? Share your preference in the comments below.
