In this guide, you will learn to install the Yoda addon on Kodi 18.6 Leia and Kodi Krypton 17.6. The installation steps provided in the guide work on all Kodi supported devices and platforms including Amazon FireStick, Android Mobiles & Tablets, iOS Devices, Windows and Mac, and more.
Named after the legendary Jedi character from Star Wars, Yoda Kodi addon has brought itself to the spotlight and stayed among the top Kodi addons for a while. However, due to the shutdown of the popular Supremacy repository, Yoda also went down. It is now available from the Kodil Repository.
Update: Supremacy Repository is down. Kodil Repository has also shutdown. Yoda addon is NO LONGER AVAILABLE. You may try one of the other add-ons from our list.
How to Install Yoda Kodi Addon
Yoda is a third-party addon sourced from outside the official Kodi Addon Repository. To allow the installation of third-party add-ons, we need to make some changes to the security settings and enable the Unknown Sources. So, before we get started with the installation process, there is one little thing you need to take care of:
From the Kodi home-screen, go to Settings >> System Settings (or just System in Kodi Leia) and select Add-ons option on the left sidebar. Now, highlight Unknown Sources on the right (as shown in the image below) and turn it ON.
When that’s done, you can continue with the installation process of the Yoda addon on Kodi. I have broken it down into two parts. Follow each step carefully.
Kodi Addons / builds offer unlimited streaming content, but could also get you into legal trouble if caught streaming free Movies / TV shows / Sports. Kodi users are strongly advised to always connect a VPN while streaming online. A good Kodi VPN hides your identity, bypasses government surveillance, geo-blocked content, and ISP throttling (which also helps in buffer-free streaming).
I use ExpressVPN which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is very easy to install on any device including Amazon FireStick. You get 3-months free and save 49% on its annual plans. Also, it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you can always ask for a refund.

Part 1: Add the Installation Source
We are going to install the Yoda Kodi addon over the web. Therefore, you will need to add the server address for Kodi to fetch the installation files. Here are the quick steps:
Step 1: Make sure you are on the Kodi home screen. Click the Settings icon on the top left of the window. Look for the cog/gear icon just under the Kodi logo on the top left.
Step 2: Open the ‘File Manager’ option on the next screen (it is in the top row in Kodi 18)
Step 3: Now click ‘Add source’ option on the next window. If you don’t see ‘Add source’ you may have already added many sources. Scroll down to the bottom of the list and you will find it.
Step 4: Click the ‘<None>’ option and enter the following URL: http://www.lvtvv.com/repo
Please be careful while entering this address. It has to be exactly the same or you will not be able to install the Yoda addon on Kodi.
Step 5: Once you entered the source URL, highlight and click the field ‘Enter a name for this media source’ (see the image above). In this field enter the name of the source to your liking. But, choose the name you could easily identify the source with at a later stage of the installation process. I will enter the name ‘kodil’ for this guide.
Step 6: Click ‘OK’ after entering the name.
Part 2: Install the Kodil Repository and Yoda Kodi add-on
Once you have added the source, the next thing you want to do is install the Kodil repository. From this repository, you will install the Yoda video add-on for Kodi.
Step 1: Go back to the Kodi home screen and then click the ‘Add-ons’ option on the left sidebar
Step 2: On the next screen, click the ‘Package Installer’ icon, which is on the top left and just under the Kodi logo. It looks like a Dropbox icon or an open box icon
Step 3: Click ‘Install from zip file’ next
Step 4: Now click the name you gave to the source earlier while adding the source. In our case, it is ‘kodil’
Step 5: You should see a zip file named something like ‘repository.kodil-1.3.zip’. The numbers at the end of the file name depict the version and they may change if the version is updated. Click this file.
Step 6: In a short while you will see a notification ‘Kodil Repository add-on installed’ on the top left
Step 7: Now click ‘Install from repository’ option on the same window
Step 8: Open the Kodil repository from the list of the repositories
Step 9: Next, click ‘Video add-ons’
Step 10: Now, click ‘Yoda’ on the list
Step 11: On the subsequent screen, click the ‘Install’ button on the bottom right. If you are using Kodi Leia, click OK when a popup appears after clicking Install
Step 12: Wait for the ‘Yoda add-on installed’ notification to show up on the top right (see the image below). When you see this notification, it means that the Yoda add-on for Kodi has been successfully installed.
Well, this is all you need to do to install Yoda addon on Kodi. Return to the Kodi home-screen and you might see Yoda listed here. If you have many add-ons installed, you may not find Yoda Kodi addon on the home screen. So, navigate to Add-ons > Video add-ons and open Yoda from there.
Before you start streaming with Kodi Addons / Builds, I would like to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and Government. This means, streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, Sports) might get you into legal trouble.
Kodi users are strongly advised to connect a VPN while streaming. A VPN for Kodi will bypass ISP throttling, Government Surveillance, and geo-restriction on popular Add-ons. I always connect ExpressVPN on all my streaming devices and I suggest you do the same.
ExpressVPN is the fastest and most secure VPN. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Meaning, you can use it freely for the first 30-days and if you are not satisfied with the performance (which is highly unlikely), you can ask for the full refund.
NOTE: We do not encourage the violation of the copyright laws. But, what if you end up streaming content from an illegitimate source unintentionally? It is not always easy to tell the difference between a legit and illegal source.
So, before you start streaming on Kodi, here's how to get VPN protection in 3 simple steps.
Step 1: Get the ExpressVPN subscription HERE.
Step 2: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN app on your device.
Step 3: Click the Power icon to connect a VPN server. That's all. Your connection is now secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.
Conclusion: Yoda Kodi Addon
Yoda gives you the option to stream movies and TV shows. You will find dozens of them here. But Yoda has officially shut down. You may not find a lot of working links.
Thankfully, the Yoda Kodi addon is compatible with Real Debrid. So, if you happen to have a Real Debrid subscription, you may find additional full HD streams with faster streaming.
