This tutorial will show you how to install the Robin Hood TV addon on Kodi. You can get this addon on FireStick, Fire Stick 4K, Raspberry Pi, Kodi compatible Computers, Mobiles and Tablets, and all other Kodi supported devices.
Robin Hood TV is a Live TV addon with two streaming categories – Balkan TV and World TV. As is apparent, Balkan TV section only streams satellite channels from the Balkan region. It is the World TV that features live streaming of channels from other regions.
Robin Hood TV is not the most diverse Live TV Kodi addon. However, the World TV section has a decent line up of TV channels from the USA, UK, and many other European countries. You might want to give it a try at least once.
Steps to Install Robin Hood TV Kodi Addon
This process is covered in the following two parts:
Part 1: Switch ON Unknown Sources
Part 2: Robinhood TV Kodi Addon installation steps
We will now follow both the parts one by one.
Attention, Kodi Users!
Kodi Addons and builds offer unlimited streaming content, but could also get you into legal trouble if caught streaming free movies, TV shows, or sports. Currently, your IP is visible to everyone. Kodi users are strongly advised to always connect a VPN while streaming online. A good Kodi VPN hides your identity, bypasses government surveillance, geo-blocked content, and ISP throttling (which also helps in buffer-free streaming).
I personally use ExpressVPN, which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is very easy to install on any device including Amazon FireStick. You get 3-months free and save 49% on its annual plans. Also, it comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you can always ask for a refund.
Part 1: Switch ON Unknown Sources
Kodi has a security option, which is disabled by default to prevent any unauthorized installation. This option blocks the installation of all the third-party addons, even the safe ones like Robinhood TV. To bypass this restriction, follow the steps below:
1- Go to the home window of the Kodi app and open Settings. For this, you need to click the gear icon in the upper-left corner
2- Now, open the option System on the next window
For Kodi 17.6 users it is System settings
3- You will find the Add-ons option in the right part of this window. Click it
4- Unknown Sources option is on the right side of the same screen. It is OFF by default. Switch it ON
5- When you try to turn it ON, you are prompted with a warning message. Go ahead and click Yes
As I said, Robin Hood TV is a safe addon
This allows you to install Robinhood TV or any other third-party addon.
It would be a good idea to come back and turn OFF Unknown Sources after installing Robin Hood TV Kodi addon
Part 2: Robin Hood TV Installation Steps
After taking care of the ‘Unknown Sources’ prerequisite, you may begin installing the Robinhood TV addon on Kodi. Here are the steps:
1- Go ahead and open the Settings again from the home window of Kodi
2- Now we will open File manager
3- We now click Add source on the window that follows next
4- This little screen pops up. You must see <None> around the middle of this window. Go ahead and click it
5- Now we type in the URL of the source which will be used to install the Robin Hood TV Kodi addon.
Click OK after typing the following URL carefully:
Use the new link: http://kodibalkan.com/repo/
6- To proceed, we need to name this source we provided in the previous step. Highlight Enter a name for this media source section
Type a name you like, like, say robinhood
Check the URL again
7- Repeatedly press back to go back the home window of the Kodi app
Kodi 18.2 users follow the first image and click Settings
Kodi 17.6 users click Add-ons (no image)
8- Kodi 18.2 users will now open the option Add-ons as shown in the first image
Kodi 17.6 users go to the top-left corner and open the package installer icon by clicking the open-box icon (no image)
9- We now open Install from zip file
10- Now, click the source name you chose previously
It is robinhood in my case
11- click the zip file
Click the Zip file repository.robinhood-x.x
12- The repository will install and take about 30 seconds. Wait for the
Tojelako Repository Add-on installed Robin Hood Repository Add-on installed
13- Now click Install from repository on the same window
14- Go ahead and open the
Tojelako Repository Robin Hood Repository you just installed
15- Choose Video add-ons
16- Find and click Robin Hood TV
17- Click Install button on the window that follows
18- This window will now appear only if you are using Kodi 18 (or any other Leia version). Click OK
19- Robin Hood TV addon now installs. It may take more than one minute. Wait for the Robin Hood TV Add-on Installed notification (upper-right corner)
This is exactly how you install the Robin Hood TV Kodi addon. Enjoy!
Before you start streaming with Kodi Addons or Builds, I would like to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and Government. This means, streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, live TV, and Sports) might get you into legal trouble.
Thankfully, there is a foolproof way to keep all your streaming activities hidden from your ISP and the Government. All you need is a good VPN for Kodi. A VPN will mask your original IP which is and will help you bypass Online Surveillance, ISP throttling, and content geo-restrictions.
I personally use and recommend ExpressVPN, which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is compatible with all kinds of streaming apps and devices.
NOTE: We do not encourage the violation of copyright laws. But, what if you end up streaming content from an illegitimate source unintentionally? It is not always easy to tell the difference between a legit and illegal source.
So, before you start streaming on Kodi, here's how to get VPN protection in 3 simple steps.
Step 1: Get the ExpressVPN subscription HERE. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Meaning, you can use it free for the first 30-days and if you are not satisfied with the performance (which is highly unlikely), you can ask for a full refund.
Step 2: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN app on your streaming device. If you are using a FireStick, I have given the exact steps starting with Step 4 below.
Step 3: Click the Power icon to connect to a VPN server. That's all. Your connection is now secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.
The following are the steps to install Kodi VPN on your Fire TV devices. If you have other streaming devices, follow Step 1-3 above.
Step 4: Subscribe to ExpressVPN HERE (if not subscribed already).
Step 5: Go to Fire TV Stick home screen. Click Find followed by Search option (see image below).
Step 6: Type Expressvpn in the search bar and select when it shows up.
Step 7: Click Download.
Step 8: Open the ExpressVPN app and Sign in using the email ID and password that you created while buying the ExpressVPN subscription.
Step 9: Click the Power icon to connect to a VPN server. That’s all. Your FireStick is now secured with the fastest VPN.
How to Use Robin Hood TV Addon on Kodi: Quick Look
The first thing you want to do is access this addon. That you can do by going back to the home window of Kodi.
From the home window, click Add-ons > Video addons
Here is the Robin Hood TV Kodi addon icon. Click it
There are only two streaming categories: Live TV Balkan and Live TV World
If you are interested in watching Balkan channels, go ahead and click the first option. For everything else, click Live TV World.
There are several European countries to choose from, including the UK. The addon also has one category for United States Live TV
In the US section, you will find a variety of live channels to choose from.
Robin Hood TV is certainly not the greatest Live TV addon. However, as I write this guide, it has a decent collection of European and American TV channels. You will find a lot of streaming links here. However, some of the streaming options may not work all the time.
The addon is a great choice if you like to stream Balkan channels. That’s the primary focus of the addon. I believe the developers have added the World TV section only to gain some popularity.
