In this guide, you will learn to install Red Wizard build on Kodi 18.3 Leia (and older Kodi 18 versions). You can use the instructions provided here to install this build on any Kodi compatible device of your choice, including FireStick, Windows, Mac, Android Mobiles, iOS and more.
One Alliance Reborn team brings to you another fine build for Kodi 18. You will notice that the title of the build reads “Adult Only”, but Red Wizard is not just an adult build. There are plenty of options to stream other kinds of videos including your favorite movies, shows, TV channels, sports content and more. Of course, the build carries some adult addons and hence it warns the users through the title. There is nothing for kids here and you would want to make sure they don’t get their hands on it.
Red Wizard comes bundled with some of the best Kodi addons including Exodus Redux, The Magic Dragon, SportsDevil, Yoda, Deceit, and Uk Turk’s Playlists. To keep the build light, developers have stripped it down to the basic. So, don’t expect any frills or jazz here. If, however, you are looking for a build that works error-free on Kodi Leia 18 and lets you watch your favorite content, Red Wizard is the build to try. That’s also the reason why we have included Red Wizard on our Best Kodi Builds list.
Update: Red Wizard Build is currently unavailable as the OneAllianceReborn Repository is down. The developers updated the build before going offline. Therefore, if already installed it, you should be able to use it for a few weeks
How to Install Red Wizard Kodi Build
Installation of Red Wizard build on Kodi 18.3 is primarily divided into 3 parts, which are further split into step-by-step instructions. Here is what we will cover:
- Allow Unknown Sources
- Install One Alliance Reborn Wizard
- Install Red Wizard Build from One Alliance Reborn Wizard
The following steps cover these 3 parts exactly in the same order as above:
#1: Open the Settings on Kodi from the home-screen. You need to click the cog icon.
#2: Next, open the option System
#3: Go ahead and select the item Add-ons on the left part of the next window. Now, navigate to the right part and drag the Unknown Sources switch to turn it ON
#4: Choose Yes when this warning message appears. Red Wizard is a safe build and I have tested it personally
You have now enabled Unknown Sources. It was a prerequisite to installing the third-party build Red Wizard on Kodi 18.3.
#5: Press the back button once to return to the Settings menu. Now click File manager
#6: Scroll down if you must and click Add source on the following window
#7: Click where it says <None>
#8: Enter the following path exactly as I have provided in the empty space on the top on the next window that pops up: http://onealliancereborn.com/repo/
#9: When back on this window, highlight/click the field Enter a name for this media source and type in the source name of your choice. I am naming it OneAlliance
#10: Now press the back button multiple times until you are back at the Kodi home-screen. Click Add-ons on the left
#11: Click the little open-box option (it is in the top-left corner). This option is often referred to as Package installer
#12: Next, click Install from zip file
#13: Click OneAlliance (or the source name you provided in step #9 above)
#14: Go ahead and click the zip file plugin.program.onealliancerebornwizard-x.x.x.zip
Note: I have replaced the version number of the file with x.x.x as it is subject to change
#15: Wait for the OneAlliance Reborn Wizard Add-on installed notification. You will see it in the top-right of your display.
Note: This wizard takes several minutes to install. However, the installation progress is not displayed on the screen. Just wait until this notification is displayed.
You have successfully installed the OneAlliance Reborn Wizard and completed Part 2 of the process
#15: When prompted, click Continue (you may also select any settings you wish to change)
#16: On this prompt, I am clicking Ignore because I will guide you to the build menu from the Kodi home-screen. However, you may simply click Build Menu and skip to step #19
#17: From the Kodi home-screen go to Add-ons > Program add-ons and open OneAlliance Reborn Wizard
#18: Click Builds
#19: Click the Red Wizard Build in the Leia Builds section
#20: Click Fresh Install
Note: You may also choose Standard Install. However, it will barely retain any data and it is likely the build may not function properly. It is best to first reset Kodi with a fresh install before installing a build
#21: Confirm your intent by clicking Continue
#22: Wait until the Red Wizard Kodi 18 build is downloaded and installed. This may take several minutes
#23: Click Force Close when the installation is complete
Note: Reload Profile often doesn’t work and ultimately force closes Kodi at any rate
That will be all. You have successfully installed the Red Wizard build on Kodi 18.3 Leia. Reopen Kodi to use the build.
Before you start streaming with Kodi Addons / Builds, I would like to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and Government. This means, streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, Sports) might get you into legal trouble.
Kodi users are strongly advised to connect a VPN while streaming. A VPN for Kodi will bypass ISP throttling, Government Surveillance, and geo-restriction on popular Add-ons. I always connect ExpressVPN on all my streaming devices and I suggest you do the same.
ExpressVPN is the fastest and most secure VPN. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Meaning, you can use it freely for the first 30-days and if you are not satisfied with the performance (which is highly unlikely), you can ask for the full refund.
NOTE: We do not encourage the violation of the copyright laws. But, what if you end up streaming content from an illegitimate source unintentionally? It is not always easy to tell the difference between a legit and illegal source.
So, before you start streaming on Kodi, here's how to get VPN protection in 3 simple steps.
Step 1: Get the ExpressVPN subscription HERE.
Step 2: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN app on your device.
Step 3: Click the Power icon to connect a VPN server. That's all. Your connection is now secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.
Red Wizard Kodi Build: A Quick Overview
Red Wizard is a simple build. If this is your first build, it will not take long for you to get the hang of it. If you have used builds before, you will have a great sense of familiarity.
Here goes the home-screen of Red Wizard Kodi 18 build:
The layout follows the standard design norms. As you may have seen in several other builds, there is the Main Menu and a Sub Menu on the home-screen. Movies, TV Shows, Sport, Music, Favorites are some of the Main Menu categories.
When you select any video category, the submenu will display the related addons. For instance, with TV Shows selected in the Main Menu, 1A Picks, At the Flix, Deceit, Exodus Redux and Gaia addons are displayed. You can click any addon and get started.
As I have already said, you won’t find any Kids section here. That makes sense because Red Wizard has plenty of doses of adult content.
I guess that’s pretty much it about Red Wizard build. You may want to explore the rest yourself.
So that’s the Red Wizard Kodi 18.3 build for you. One reason why you should try this build is that, for Kodi Leia users, the options are very limited. Most Krypton builds are non-functional on this latest Kodi release. Another reason why you would want to give it a go is that it is lightweight and offers superb performance on the devices with low and moderate specs. Even though Red Wizard isn’t a feature-rich build, it will do the basic streaming job well. Give it a try.
